Salut !
Ici on ne parle pas du futur film mais du futur jeu video. Pour l'instant je n'en sais pas plus que ce qui est écrit ci-dessous :

'Ghost' also rides as video game in 2006

By John Gaudiosi
Majesco Entertainment is on board to ship a video game based on Marvel Entertainment's "Ghost Rider" comic series in summer 2006, coinciding with the Sony Pictures/Marvel Studios movie starring Nicolas Cage. The deal is part of a licensing agreement finalized this year between Majesco and Marvel.

U.K.-based development studio Climax is working on the new game for PlayStation 2, Xbox and PlayStation Portable platforms.

Comic scribes Garth Ennis and Jimmy Palmiotti are penning the game's story, which will pick up after the events in the upcoming film and provide an interactive sequel featuring cult superhero Ghost Rider.

Marvel Enterprises director of video game development Ames Kirshen said that key members of the Climax development team went to Australia during the film shoot and spent time with Ari Arad, co-producer of the film and senior vp production at Marvel Studios.

"They came away with some great assets, both 2-D and 3-D, which have been crucial for us to most accurately re-create (director) Mark Steven Johnson's theatrical vision into a 3-D interactive video game world," Kirshen said.

Marvel's "Ghost Rider" comic has sold more than 45 million copies since it was introduced in 1972. In addition to next summer's film, Marvel will introduce a new limited series "Ghost Rider" comic in September.

"The target demographic for games and comics has significant overlap, and oftentimes, comic properties translate very well into compelling video games," Majesco Entertainment senior product manager Liz Buckley said. "The Ghost Rider game offers a unique combination of high-impact combat and motorcycle action infused with supernatural elements."

Buckley added that like the recent Marvel and Activision "Fantastic Four" video game, the "Ghost Rider" game will utilize characters from the Hollywood adaptation and the Marvel comic universe. At this time, the game will not feature voices or likenesses from the film's cast.

She said players, as Ghost Rider, will face off against such villains as Blackheart and Mephistopheles. Players will be able to ride the Hell Cycle on water and boost over jumps. The third-person perspective game also will feature such weapons as the Hellfire Chain and Hellfire Shotgun.

The comic tells the story of motorcycle stunt rider Johnny Blaze, who makes a deal with Mephistopheles to save his father's life. In exchange, Blaze loses his immortal soul and is destined to ride through the night, avenging evil as the Ghost Rider and never to be reunited with the love of his life.

Kirshen added that the Ghost Rider character and his supporting universe are different from other Marvel franchises already familiar to the gaming world, so this experience will stand out from the crowd as being unique.

Majesco also is developing a video game based on Top Cow Comics' "The Darkness" for next-generation consoles. The game, which will ship next year, is being developed by Starbreeze, creator of "The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay." The third-person-perspective game casts players as Jackie Estacado, a fearless Mafia hit man for the Franchetti crime family who suddenly is possessed by the terrifying and spectacular powers of the Darkness. Platinum Studios and Dimension Films are working on a film version of the comic, which is expected to be released in 2007.

De toute façon, il faut s'attendre à avoir au moins 1 jeu vidéo par film de supers-héros.
Le jeu vidéo Iron Man est lui aussi déjà prévu Wink
